Hair in blender

Hi, can anyone help me telling how to make alpha hair just in blender and s4 studio? I tried to follow a YouTube video but in the game I'm having some issues (transparency issues and the hair that doesn't move with my sim).

If you could find any help, please post the link in the comments, so I can made a hair without paying for 3DS max.
